Work that makes use of photographs, published images, and or other artists/ works, must show creative development beyond duplication. This may be demonstrated through manipulation of formal qualities, design, and/or concept of the original work. It is unethical, constitutes plagiarism, and often violates copyright law to simply copy an image (even in another medium) that was created by someone else.
Teachers are encouraged to submit student work from a variety of projects. Multiple entries of the same project by one teacher may result in a selection of the single strongest piece by the jury.
Teachers will be notified by email of works accepted after jurying by January 5th, 2017
Each 2D work accepted to the show must to be matted in black mat board (submission images do not need to include mats)
Each work accepted to the show must be accompanied by a brief artist statement
